As a New York University graduate with experience ranging from working at children’s art studios to having corporate graphic design experience, Christy’s art background has stretched across industries and age groups. She teaches a variety of mediums such as sensory art, hand-building with air-dry/modeling/oven-bake clay, crafting, and digital arts, providing flexibility for students from ages 3-14 who are curious about learning different art forms. Through customized lessons and social skills practice, Christy is committed to building joint attention and emotional development through art with her students.

From volunteering at PCDA at a young age to having experience as a certified Registered Behavior Technician, Christy has helped guide children with ASD to build necessary life skills. Her focus in her sessions are to help build ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and community integration skills through activities such as playdates with peers, learning how to order at a register, cooking food, or even budgeting money. With her skills as an artist, pianist, and a home cook, Christy brings variety to the learning opportunities she shares with her students, ranging from ages 3-14.
